It takes a certain type of mind to block that out, to excuse it - simply because no money changed hands.

2. to cheat or defraud with a scam.

I can see a dreadful mistake in logic I am afraid . . I am moved enough to write.
Like an oak tree is an oak . . from acorn to fully grown tree . . it is all oakness . . 100% . . even if it is struck by a bolt of lightning and it's life is made short.
So, likewise . . a confidence game, a fraudulent scheme, a scam . . it matters not one little bit that it did not come to bear fruit.
I have to agree with jepoyeng . . it was rather a shallow remark . . but I do not laugh, as this topic is quite sinister, so why are people splitting hairs about semantics?

It seems that all the contrary reactions . . in fact the only reactions . . are all from the Philippines . . I can't see an explanation for all that, perhaps you could help explain, Noemidado.
From reading the story it all sounds very suspicious . . I really don't blame the man for being cautious.
Have you met the man as well as the girl? Are they still together? Did he ever get over there to sort it all out? Why did the suspicious real estate firm never send him any more convincing proof . . if it was all true? Or the hospital for that matter? It is very easy to produce real looking invoices . . especially over interweb . . and then there's the video that he filmed . . why should he be going to all this trouble? He loved the girl . . that is clear . . how can you be so sure that she is telling the truth?

Okay then . . I will come clean . . I was pretending to still be at home in Sweden . . but I am very real. I am a friend, a supporter, if you like . . but I am not imaginary . . I am here for a while . . with my friend Tim. He has many supporters and is capable of dealing with things on his own as far as the interweb . . I am above all a supporter of the truth . . the big, wide unassailable truth . . that is still there . . unchanged. I do not want to enter into anything personal here . . as I said . . I am on holiday and wish to help my friend. I'd be grateful if Noemidado would answer my questions for herself.

Hello Jepoyeng . . but all the blogs you mention are either your friends or Noemidado's friends or family . . and friends of yours in the forums. Now that strikes me as being a very artificial statistic . . manipulation of statistics . . that is not very honest. Why is it necessary to manipulate the statistics . . are we not merely searching for the truth . . the big, wide truth . . that will refresh us all? I read somewhere that you have been doing your own research into this story. May I ask what you did find? What was that research? Tacka dig.

I personally never met Noemi or Jepoy or anyone on the World of Filipinas forum...as a matter of fact I never met anyone who reads my blog. I read Tims attacks on Noemi's blog and even then decided to learn the truth.

Then this stench made it over the the world of filipinas forum and Tim, aka, jim aka mad hatter aka fyzz aka yada yada yada.....came in there spewing his trash. I gave him a chance to show evidence of a scam or harm done to him. But he couldn't provide it.

Why you might ask? Well because there isn't proof...it's all in his sick little boy mind and that's where it will stay! Well im wrong there it's going to propagate into more and more blog post...until he catches the attention of someone who can truly embarrass the living crap out of him...then he'll call that person a co-conspiritor.

I guess his own embassy was in on the scam too...they did confirm that she was in the hospital. and they told him soo...is the british embassy involved too?

Tim get a freaking life! Go take care of your wife and be thankful she took your sorry ass back. Anyone who supports this madness should be ashamed of themselves. or they should see a shrink.

Now you have mentioned proof? I think that's a bit silly . . to expect a group of scammers to leave proof . . I mean . . would you? No . . I'm sure you would take great care . . not to give the game away . . but pieces of paper . . pictures on a screen are not really proof anyway . . are they? No . . of course not . . that is like saying a marriage licence is proof that people are still in love. It is behaviour that shows whether people are in love . . think about that.
